Most of the Indian pharmacists are working in marketing, production or other fields. But most of the time they give their pharmacist registrations in rent to pharmacy stores for earning some extra money.
Caution for Indian Pharmacists, who give registration for rent.
This renting of pharmacist registration is not a legal process according to the department of drug control, Govt. of India.
If you using your license for other people's pharmacy store, but you are not working there as a pharmacist then that's not a legal way. Any time drug controller can cancel your pharmacist registration.
But if you have your own pharmacy store or you working in that particular store then that's a legal process. Because they may misuse the power of your pharmacist registration.
According to my point of view, don't rent your registration. Because that's not just a registration, that's the degree you achieved by working several years. If it's canceled then the whole degree is canceled. Your total pharmacy career spoiled.
But if you are unemployed, then rent your registration and work at that particular pharmacy shop.
Convince the store owner, like this.
Sir, you are going to pay me for my pharmacy registration. (Example payment: 6000/month)
But you can take me as an employee in your store. I can work for 8 hours sincerely. (Example payment: 6000/month)
You should pay me the rent of the registration plus the fees like other employees in your store. (Example total 12000/month)
I just give a small example. The pharmacy stores owner may give you more money according to your skill and power of convenience.
But I think that is far better than an unemployed pharmacy student life.
