What is GPAT?
GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance examination for joining the Master in Pharmacy (in short M.Pharm) course. This examination is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) only for Graduate Pharmacy students.

How to apply for GPAT?
Before starting online registration for GPAT, you should know
- Keep all your academic qualifications with you (10th, 12th, and B.Pharm)
- First of all, you need a good internet connection and a computer device, through which you can fill up the online form.
- You have to upload your scanned photography (size should be less than 60 Kb and the pixels should be 140 X 160) with a clear background and scanned signature (size should be less than 30 Kb and the pixels should be 60 X 90) while registering. - A valid Emil id and mobile no. of you (all the information will be sent to these)
- For online payment, you need a valid Credit or Debit card.
- For cash payment, you have to print 3 copies of Challan at the bank.
- After knowing all the information go to www.aicte-gpat.in. Then go to the part of the registration and click on a new register or new user.
- After it, you should fill up this type of interface of the form.
- In the preferred test cities option, select your nearest city in the City 1 option.
- Before clicking the submit button, do revise the full registration form thoroughly. After submitting you cant edit any data of the form.
- After submitting you will get a password to the email address you have given.
- Using your email id and password. You can log in at the existing user portion.
- The next step is payment. You can choose online payment or offline payment options. But online payment is better because it's hassle-free and easy.
- If you want to pay offline, then you should print out 3 copies of the challan. Fill out those copies and go to the nearest branch of SBI and deposit the cash. After the transaction, they will give you a copy of the challan back with a stamp and journal number. After 48 hours you will get an email with payment confirmation.
- Now go to www.aicte-gpat.in and fill up the remaining part of the form. Then there you can see the view/ modify button. If you want to modify or change any data then do it and click on I agree and submit.
- After completion, you can see an option to print. Do it and keep one reference copy with you.
